Mr. Tshililo presents his paper at the Africa Young Graduates and Scholars (AYGS) conference. The aim of this research was to investigate theoretical and practical ways that small business owners in disadvantaged communities (within South African municipality of EThekwini) can contribute to their own business development as well as that of their fellows within a framework of Local Economic Development (LED).
